I’m a movie nut. I’m the first one to admit that. How crazy am I for movies? Well, here’s a real-life example. One time, my wife got this box set of gangster movies from the United States. We’re talking about gangster movies from the 1930s, 1940s, all the way to The Godfather era. That’s right, the early 1970s. That’s a lot of gangster movies. We’re talking from black and white to Technicolor.

I know it sounds crazy but, given the fact that these movies in total accounted for about sixty hours of raw movie entertainment fun, I sat through all sixty hours. I know that blows away a lot of people when I first tell them that. That’s how much of movie nut I am. I now it’s kind of almost bordering on some sort of personal problem.

However, I wish that I knew how to balance my life back then. I wish that I had some sort of easy routine that would clue me in on the fact that I’m just spending too much time watching movie after movie.

In other words, I wish that I had the kind of balance board UK movie fans would prefer to take a break on. Let’s get one thing clear. It’s one thing for you to love a certain type of movie; it’s another for you to waste your precious time doing imbalanced things.

I’m not saying that you should not watch movies or even go on a binge from time to time. What I am saying is that you should have some sort of balance because a balanced life leads to a sane, sound and productive life. I learned this firsthand when I was able to achieve some sort of balance by, interestingly enough, using the kind of balance board UK movie fans would prefer.

By doing this, I would take a break from the long stretches of watching movie after movie. This gave me the perspective I needed to take it easy. I would then be able to stop and then start again then stop. Believe me this made all the difference in the world because the last time I checked, it’s not exactly healthy to stay fixated in front of a screen for ridiculously long periods of time.

After all, if you are the typical American, you probably have a family to take care of, you probably have a career to worry about and you have all sorts of duties, responsibilities and obligations to stay on top of.

If it takes having to get a balance board to get some actual balance in your life then, by all means, do it.
